Speed up the SMS plugin which we are waiting since past 2 years. Why not integrate with nowsms.com
www.nowsms.com has some in built-features and acts as a SMPP that is sms gateway provider / vendor neutral. Also 2 way SMS and MMS is their key feature. I'm sure if you discuss it out with them on a OEM license. Why re-invent the wheel !!
